Lumicor Resin, chosen for it’s strength and highly customizable nature, was used to create windscreens, signage and lighting at each of the 34 stations that serve Vancouver’s new rapid transit bus system, the Vine.
The windscreens at each station are unique, displaying site-specific artwork encapsulated in exterior grade resin, enhancing the visual aesthetics of the Vine corridor and representing the community at large. Complementing the artwork, bright green signposts in a custom Luminous color draw attention to each stop while tailor-made light lenses illuminate the stations at night with warm light diffused through a layer of Illume resin.
