ChemShield

ChemShield is a protective film that can be applied to one or both sides of Lumicor panels to increase chemical and stain resistance. This protective layer will not fade or streak even after heavy cleaning.

Add-On Specifications

Décors

ChemShield is appropriate for all décors in every Lumicor collection*. Choose from over 250 décors in an endless number of combinations.

*ChemShield is limited to back/flat side only for Impressions decors.

Resins

ChemShield may be applied to one or both sides of Lumiclear™. It is not available for use with Lumiform™.

Finishes & Add-Ons

A Satin finish is recommended for panels with ChemShield. If scratched or damaged, the panel cannot be refinished without losing its chemical and stain resistance.

Sizes

ChemShield may be added to these sheet sizes:
• 48″ x 96″ (1219 x 2438 mm)
• 48″ x 120″ (1219 x 3048 mm)

Gauges

ChemShield may be added to any available gauge of Lumicor panels, from 1/16″ to 1″ (1.5 mm – 24 mm).

Fabrication

Sheets with ChemShield may be cut, formed, and finished. ChemShield is not applied to the edges so all edges must be protected from chemical exposure.
