The reception area of the Perkins&Will Chicago offices includes an interactive feature wall filled with colorful blocks of Lumicor Resin that can be arranged to visually portray various types of data.
The highly customizable nature of Lumicor Resin allowed the blocks to be created in customized brand colors and fabricated to the perfect dimensions for easily sliding in and out of slots in the wall, allowing displays to be easily changed. The one-inch thick blocks feature a clear, polished edge and the translucency of the material allows for colorful shadow casting on the wall, adding yet another dynamic element to this memorable design.
